Situated on the banks of the mighty Ganga, getting to Camp Ganga Riviera is an experience in itself. In an effort to maintain the grandeur of an isolated beach & jungle camp, the camp is at a distance of 2 km from the nearest road head on the Rishikesh- Badrinath highway. One has to walk for approximately 2km (30 mins), crossing a quaint jhoola pul (suspended bridge) and the age old pilgrim’s path to Badrinath to reach the camp. The kitchen serves 3 meals a day, buffet style & the buffet may be Indian, Chinese, Continental or local Pahari food.
The camp, along with the property attached, would be the largest on the river including 2 beaches, a perennial green field & a waterfall close by. Accommodation is on twin/triple sharing basis in comfortably large tents with independent toilets and separate hot and cold showers.

Rafting Route
- Stretch 1 : Devprayag - Byaschatti – Camp Ganga Riviera
A long calm section, a perfect stretch for plenty of body-surfing, entirely in a gorge it is especially good for body surfing, photography, bird watching and spotting wild life. - Stretch 2 : Camp - Marine Drive
This is a good stretch for action packed white water rafting. Includes the rapid “Daniel’s Dip” and the biggest rapid on the Ganga – “The Wall”. - Stretch 3 : Marine Drive - Shivpuri
This section would entail the rapids ‘Three Blind Mice’, ‘Cross Fire’ & the ‘Camp Rapid’, and ‘Body Surfing’ a mild rapid which is great for swimming. - Stretch 4 : Shivpuri - Rishikesh
An exciting section of rafting including the famous ‘Roller Coaster’ and ‘Golf Course’ rapids along with ‘Return to Sender’, & ‘Club House’. A stopover at a cliff jumping point makes an exciting end to this stretch.

Road Map
Approx Distance from New Delhi – Camp : 270 kms
Route:
Delhi – Meerut – Muzaffarnagar – Haridwar – Rishikesh – Shivpuri – Byasi – Kaudiyala.
From Kaudiyala keep going on the highway for 3kms to reach a tea shack on the right (Mahadev Chatti). From this point onwards start walking down to the camp.
